Turkey Tourist Arrivals Up 111.5% in November…

The number of foreigners visiting Turkey soared 111.51 percent to 1.76 million in November of 2021 from a year earlier when COVID-19 measures were still in place but still below levels reached in 2019. Among major countries of origin, the biggest increase in arrivals came from Germany (340.80 percent), followed by Iran (308.66 percent). Considering the first ten months of the year, tourist arrivals climbed 89.61 percent to 22.82 million.
