Happy “National Sovereignty and Children's Festival”!! Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, founder of Republic of Turkey entrusted the country to young people and became the only leader in the world who presented a festival day for the children. April 23, declared as “Children's Festival” by Atatürk became not only a festival celebrated by Turks, but also the children all around the world for 102 years. Atatürk, who always stressed that the future is in the hands of the children with the words "today's children are tomorrow's grown-ups" thus presented a festival to all children. This is the only children's festival in the world.
